Such a harmonious blend of nature and antique architecture characterizes the village. Here, I could dip my feet into the river while cows graze in the fields, and well-preserved 13th-century buildings add to the serene beauty. This peaceful setting rejuvenates my tired body and mind.

It’s said that human memory is often flawed, especially for significant events. In contrast, there’s a type of memory embodied in the body that doesn’t lie. You gain this kind of memory through experiences with your parents, a testament to the highest respect for them. It’s a memory where you unknowingly begin to resemble the person.

This memory reminded me of my parents. I’m grateful for growing up well because my body hasn’t forgotten those embodied memories of my parents as I grew. I will always remember that my body carries their influence, and I am part of them.

 

 

Today, I met some new Koreans. It’s said that people tend to show their true nature when they are tired and annoyed, but their behavior wasn’t good for me. Observing them, I resolved not to show my bad side to others and to try to be kind.
