The Infinite Loop

Living in the moment is a phrase I’ve heard so often it almost feels cliché. Usually, it doesn’t resonate with me. Today, though, was different. The book “The Philosopher and the Wolf” by Mark Rowlands offered a philosophical take using those familiar words, and it struck a chord. I highly recommend it. Rowlands explores profound ideas through his experiences with animals, and I can’t help but acknowledge his brilliant insights. As I write this, I am fully present in the moment, and it feels genuinely fulfilling to capture thoughts and surroundings.

We recently departed from the city of Leon. The charm of the city was memorable, but the people I met there made my stay truly joyful. I will hold onto those memories dearly. Humans are complex creatures-capable of cunning yet also profound kindness. The warmth I’ve encountered on this pilgrimage surpass any structured trek I’ve experienced.

As I walked, my thoughts often turned to Brad. He embodies confidence, which seem to fuel his charisma and presence. Inspired by him, I’m learning to embrace confidence myself, regardless of where I am or who’s around.

Reflecting on my journey, life seems to dart forward like an arrow, and the end of this path is looming. It’s daunting, yet I recognize the importance of savoring each moment. If the Devil were to whisper in my ear that I’ll relive the same situations and feelings again and again, I’d greet each instance with a smile and gratitude. I would believe that my life isn’t just a line, but an infinite loop.

I am truly, deeply happy, everything here – the place, the people, the sounds, the temperature, and the lights – is just perfect…
