A Day in Spain: Exploring Passion and Relaxation

Today was amazing. I had the opportunity to explore Spain. The passion, relaxation, and fun I witnessed were incredible. Despite knowing it's not the whole picture, everyone appeared genuinely happy throughout the day. As time passes, Korea looks like increasingly stifling.

I got many blister, helped organize my sister's surprise birthday party from afar, experienced a sense of relaxation, and personally felt the importance of revisiting my English studies.

I admired Brad's wit, gestures, and confidence, wishing I could embody them.

I learned to articulate myself using five adjective words. Initially seeming trivial, this exercise turned out to be a valuable opportunity for introspection about my aspirations and identity. In Pamplona, a culturally rich city, I immersed myself in  their festival, enjoyed dance performances, savored local beer, and got the arrow of my life...

- Replacing timidity with attentiveness,

- Cultivating self-esteem and confidence instead of self-complacency,

- Recognizing the significance of small achievements through the use of short-term goals.

I deeply cherish the connections I make every day and aspire for them to evolve into mutually enriching relationships.

In counclusion... Spain has truly stolen my heart.

For your information,

Pamplona is the capital city of the autonomous community of Navarre in northern Spain. It is renowned worldwide for the San Fermín festival, particularly for the running of the bulls, or "encierro," which takes place during the festival in July. Here are some key points about Pamplona:

  1. History: Pamplona has a long and rich history dating back to ancient times. It was founded as the Roman city of Pompaelo in the 1st century BC and later became a key settlement during the Middle Ages. The city's strategic location along the Camino de Santiago contributed to its importance as a center of trade and pilgrimage.
  2. San Fermín Festival: The San Fermín festival is Pamplona's most famous event, held annually from July 6th to July 14th in honor of Saint Fermín, the city's patron saint. The festival features a variety of cultural and religious celebrations, including processions, concerts, fireworks, and traditional dances. The highlight of the festival is the daily running of the bulls, where participants run through the streets of Pamplona alongside six bulls and six steers.
  3. Historic Quarter: Pamplona's historic quarter, known as the Casco Antiguo, is a charming area characterized by narrow medieval streets, historic buildings, and picturesque squares. Highlights include the Plaza del Castillo, the city's main square; the Cathedral of Santa María la Real, an impressive Gothic cathedral; and the Citadel, a 16th-century fortress.
  4. Cultural Heritage: Pamplona boasts a rich cultural heritage, with influences from its Roman, medieval, and Renaissance past. The city is home to museums, galleries, and cultural institutions that showcase its history, art, and traditions. Visitors can explore exhibitions on topics such as history, archaeology, and contemporary art.
  5. Gastronomy: Navarre, the region surrounding Pamplona, is known for its excellent cuisine, and the city itself offers a wide range of culinary delights. Traditional dishes include pintxos (small snacks similar to tapas), Navarrese-style vegetables, and hearty stews. Pamplona's restaurants, bars, and markets provide ample opportunities to sample local specialties and regional wines.
  6. Green Spaces: Pamplona is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes, including parks, gardens, and green spaces. The Taconera Park, located in the city center, is a tranquil oasis featuring lush gardens, fountains, and a moat. The Yamaguchi Park, inspired by Japanese gardens, offers serene pathways, ponds, and cherry blossom trees.
